We handmake luxury, wooden wick coconut soy candles and organic room + linen sprays to elevate everyday moments.
Each of our products is more than just a scent, but a carefully curated fragrance designed to enhance your mood and transport you to a desired state of mind.
Our moniker “apricus” [app·ree·kiss] is a Latin word
meaning “full of sunlight.”
Our goal is to light up your life with joy by creating eco-friendly candles with fragrances that enhance your mood and complement both everyday moments and special occasions.

Animal Welfare
Animal rights are close to our heart, so we are mindful of what goes into our products. Our candles (both our coconut soy wax and our fragrance oils), as well as our witch hazel room spray blends, are cruelty-free and vegan. We also pledge to donate a portion of our net sales to help Wishing Well Sanctuary for abused and neglected animals in Ontario, Canada.
The Environment
Our scents may be complex and sophisticated, but our ingredients are simple and natural. We only use ingredients that are eco-friendly and whenever possible, organic and non-GMO. Most importantly, our products are free of toxins and harsh or harmful substances. All of our product packaging is reusable and/or recyclable and shipped completely in recyclable materials.
Quality + Customer Experience
Each product is handmade in Ontario, Canada. Every characteristic of our candles from the fragrance formula, to the wax, to the material and size of the wick have been carefully selected to provide a high-quality, clean-burning experience. Our room + linen sprays contain a delicately blended fragrance formula and organic ingredients in a chic, protective bottle to provide the highest quality, most luxurious scent experience possible.

Meet The Founder
As a graphic designer coupled with a background in decorating, I am always on the lookout for candles that are aesthetically pleasing and elegant in interior spaces; And as a cruelty-free lifestyle blogger, I also want candles to be natural and eco-friendly with a distinct fragrance and defined personality—which is a tall order! When I was unable to find what I was looking for on the market, I decided to try my hand at creating my own. I started this journey as a creative outlet where I can simply unplug and enjoy a handmade craft. I don’t know where it will take me, but my only goals are to find personal joy in making and to hopefully spark a little extra joy in my customers’ lives through my handmade products (while giving back a little along the way!)

Our Products
Natural + Non-Toxic Ingredients
All of our scents use phthalate-free fragrance oils + pure essential oils from around the world. Our candles use clean-burning wooden wicks and are made of clean-burning, virgin coconut soy wax that is non-toxic, paraben-free, and phthalate-free. Our organic room + linen sprays are made with a hypoallergenic 100% natural witch base with 14% organic gluten-free alcohol and do not contain sulfates, allergens, synthetics, harsh or harmful ingredients.
Eco-Friendly + Vegan Materials
All of our products are made of eco-friendly ingredients and materials. Our candles are made with a sustainable, non-GMO, vegan wax blend of virgin coconut soy wax with cruelty-free and vegan fragrance oils, along with FSC-Certified wooden wicks handmade in the USA. Our room + linen sprays use cruelty-free and vegan, 100% organic, non-GMO witch hazel that is wild harvested in the North Eastern United States with great care according to all National Organic Program and State Forestry Regulations from plants growing in the wild without human intervention. Utilizing a no-waste system, all parts of the witch hazel plant are fully used during production, with leftover plant materials recycled into a natural, biodegradable mulch.
